BACKGROUND:

TALid was established by Louis Koen (Springbok Rugby Player) and André le Roux (BBBEE Procurement Analyst) in 2009. Louis and André identified that we are faced with a situation in South Africa where there is no proper talent identification system or process in place where young people are given an opportunity to take part in sport and business, tested for potential and placed into a high performance program to achieve success. At the moment many talented youngsters in South Africa are falling through the cracks due to a lack of support from a professional business model that will lead them towards a better future. While addressing the lack of a proper talent identification system, Louis and André also saw that our athletes needed a professional company to manage them and that there was an opportunity to be of service to many roll players around the athletes. The company’s success is based on building lasting relationships with corporate companies and organisations that are passionate about sport and the development of talent.
